Japanese Startups Present To A Virtual Audience Of Over 100 Attendees In Hopes Of Securing Global Partnerships

In early March, six life sciences startups from the Kansai region of Japan, and graduates of CLSI’s FAST Japan: Kansai Fall 2020 program, presented their business plans to over 100 attendees at the Kansai Pitch Demo Day. The startups aimed to secure financial and/or business partners in the global market.

This virtual event builds on a partnership with the California Life Science Institute (CLSI), Ikigai Accelerator Bayer Yakuhin Ltd., to connect Japanese life sciences startups who are aiming to expand into the US market. The FAST International Japan program currently supports several regions including Kansai and BNV.

The Kansai Demo Day follows an earlier Medtech Startup Pitch Event that CLSI held with Yokohama Japan in January.
