Watch John Ross & Greg Ferrara Discuss The NGA Show

Jan 20, 2022

In this video, IGA CEO John Ross speaks with NGA President and CEO Greg Ferrara about The NGA Show, coming up from February 27–March 1, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This will be the first time IGA will be co-locating with NGA for an event, which means all attendees will have access to IGA's educational sessions and content. "Because of IGA's global footprint, you're able to bring a lot of perspective and learnings from around the world to the attendees," Ferrara told Ross. "So the fact that this year IGA's education is going to be integrated into NGA's education, that's an amazing benefit for all of the attendees at the show."

All attendees will have access to NGA and IGA general and education sessions, which will help independent retailers learn to stay competitive and drive sales in the coming year and beyond.

"As a retailer, I believe you have an obligation to come and be present and learn and figure out how to take advantage of the opportunities that you have right now and turn those into continued success for your business going forward," Ferrara said.

And while the event is being held in-person, NGA is taking every precaution to keep attendees safe. In fact, they held The NGA Show 2021 on the heels of the Delta variant, bringing nearly 3,000 people together without issues, thanks to stringent safety policies, like proof of vaccination or negative COVID test and honoring Las Vegas' mask mandate. "We're going to implement those same policies again," says Ferrara. "We know how to bring people together. We can make sure this industry can come together—that you can learn and network—responsibly."
